How We Work With You
Your Home: Echoing the Rhythm of Your Life
Let’s Meet!
We’d love to see your home, hear your ideas and understand the scope of your project. Show us the pictures you’ve saved and tell us about the paths you’ve traveled. Our thorough understanding of where you’ve been and where you’d like to go is key to the success of your project and understanding how you want to see your home transformed.
A Proposal
Our proposal details the specifics of the project and the fee for our services. We prefer to offer a fixed fee to our clients instead of an open-ended hourly fee. With a fixed fee, you’ll know what your total expenditures will be when the design is completed.
Talking Details
It’s time to dig in and discuss the details. Think about the kind of interiors you love, how you currently live in your home and how you wish you could live in your home. What is the flow of your life, family and home? What’s of primary importance to you? We want to know. It’s critical to our process.
Time to Design
We take these details and initiate a design process that begins with space plans and sketches and ends with an approved design with furniture and finish selections. It’s a back and forth process and we work together as a team. Your involvement is key because the final product will then reflect your dreams, not ours.
How We Communicate the Design
Depending on the type of project, we create floor plans, elevations, perspectives, lighting plans, specifications and construction documents that convey the design intent and expectations for all involved in making the design come to life.
Let Us Make it Happen
When it’s time to build, implement, and install, we will provide construction administration or construction management services. What’s the difference?
Construction Administration: Includes being available to answer questions from you and your contractors during the construction.
Construction Management, our CMA Advantage includes:
• Actively managing all aspects of construction
• Obtaining pricing from all contractors
• Creating a comprehensive project cost document
• Contacting, scheduling and managing the work of all contractors
• Reviewing all invoices
• Directing payments. At our guidance, you make payments to all contractors directly. This way you stay in the loop and know exactly what you’re buying. There are no hidden markups.
